About the Role
The role involves managing and monitoring multiple engagements and teams, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes that align with expectations. This position requires training and updating teams on recent and upcoming regulatory changes and trends impacting clients in the Financial Services sector. You will lead initiatives aimed at increasing service delivery effectiveness and efficiency, including digital shifts and the standardization of workpapers.
As an assistant manager, you will adhere to internal risk management and client engagement management procedures, which include client acceptance, continuance, and engagement procedures related to various areas such as Internal Audit, Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), Enterprise Risk Management, Corporate Governance, and Internal Audit Quality Assurance Reviews.
You will support Engagement Partners in leading business development initiatives of the Financial Services sector, participating in pre-engagement activities, contracting, and organizing meetings with potential clients. A comprehensive understanding of engagement management along with quality and risk management policies is essential to streamline Advisory processes. Additionally, you will assist Engagement Partners in implementing new services, methodologies, and tools provided by the company.

Responsibilities
- Manage multiple engagements and teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Train teams on regulatory changes and trends affecting the Financial Services sector.
- Lead initiatives to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in service delivery.
- Undertake internal risk management and client engagement management procedures.
- Support Engagement Partners in business development and pre-engagement activities.
- Obtain in-depth understanding of engagement quality and risk management policies.
- Assist in implementing new services and methodologies for the company.
Education, Qualifications, and Skills Required
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Management Accounting, or equivalent.
- Relevant qualifications such as CIA, CA, ACCA, CISA, CFE, CRMA, BCM, or CCGP.
- 6-7 years of experience in Internal Audit, ICOFR, Enterprise Risk Management, Corporate Governance, or Internal Audit Quality Assurance Reviews, preferably from a consulting firm or financial institutions such as banks or insurance companies.
- At least 6 months of experience in an assistant managerial role.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience managing teams and working on 2-3 engagements simultaneously.
- Possess an analytical approach and inquisitive mind.
- Demonstrate leadership and team mentoring skills.
