Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using React concepts, focusing on self-contained, reusable, and testable modules.
- Architecting and automating the build process for production using task runners or scripts.
- Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
- Possessing knowledge of data structures in TypeScript and hands-on experience in performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring.
- Creating scalable and highly available RESTful APIs using NodeJS technologies and being well-versed in CI/CD principles.
- Working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Integrating API gateways like 3Scale and understanding single sign-on or token-based authentication (REST, JWT, OAuth).
- Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with developing responsive web-based UI.
Technical Skills Required:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools, along with popular React workflows (Flux, Redux, Context API).
- Unit testing experience using Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, or equivalent frameworks.
- Understanding of linter libraries (TSLINT, Prettier) and best coding practices.
Functional Skills:
- Experience with Agile methodology and adherence to coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards.
- Ability to ensure quality of technical and application architecture across the organization.
- Strong research and benchmarking skills against best-in-class technologies.
Soft Skills:
- Influencing multiple teams on technical considerations to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Self-motivated, able to drive initiatives without supervision, and work collaboratively across teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with senior and executive management.
Candidates with experience in banking or retail domains are preferred. Fluency in English is required.
