Senior Consultant

At the company, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant for a contractual opportunity based in Dubai, UAE. This role presents an exciting chance for a professional with a passion for financial statements preparation and audit coordination to contribute to our organization's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide financial statements preparation and audit coordination services to clients.
• Handle bookkeeping tasks, including analyzing and posting journal entries, processing invoices and payments, revenue recognition, and conducting bank and account reconciliations.
• Monitor and prepare the submission of financial statements to various regulatory authorities.
• Assist in ensuring compliance during the month-end closing/reporting process with both internal and external policies.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from reputable universities.
• A relevant professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or ACCA is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of working experience within a large professional services company or similar environment.
• Strong foundation in basic accounting concepts (e.g., accruals, deferrals, prepayments).
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives, while maintaining high-quality work.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in dealing with people at various professional levels.
• Proactive, highly motivated, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to travel within the UAE for client requirements.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.
