You will bridge the gap between technical strategy and business value by guiding enterprise clients from initial pre-sales technical validation through onboarding, deployment architecture, and full lifecycle expansion. As part of the GTM organization, you will leverage AI-augmented workflows to eliminate administrative toil and focus on high-value architectural design and driving measurable business outcomes across the entire customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Validation:

    • Partner closely with Account Executives to lead technical deep-dive discovery, capturing business requirements and mapping complex customer infrastructures to fit-for-purpose the company architectures and bespoke solutions.
    • Define, scope, success criteria, and technical evaluations plans for Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Technical Validations.
    • Deliver tailored technical presentations, architectural diagrams, and demonstrations addressing performance, security, and reliability challenges.
    • Proactively address complex technical objections and integration requirements during the sales cycle, ensuring a suitable deployment strategy is part of all proposals.
  • Customer Adoption & Value Realization:

    • Provide oversight to technical onboarding and implementation as the primary executive and engineering contact for the customer.
    • Design structured migration and onboarding blueprints tailored to customer environments and guide customer engineering teams through best practices.
    • Monitor customer health scores and telemetry to ensure rapid time-to-value, resolving integration bottlenecks and reducing deployment risk.
  • Commercial Accountability & Expansion:

    • Carry a variable quota for new business acquisition or ongoing account growth.
    • Be accountable for deep platform adoption, identifying strategic cross-sell and up-sell opportunities based on product usage data.
    • Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to demonstrate platform capabilities in terms of return on investment for C-level executives.
  • Trusted Advisory:

    • Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders from onboarding to renewal and expansion phases.
    • Provide thought leadership on architecture, AI control layers, and security, while identifying potential risks early and offering remediation strategies.
  • AI Orchestration & Workflow Automation:

    • Use AI agents and Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate tasks such as RFP responses and basic telemetry monitoring, reclaiming time for strategic advisory work.
  • Education & Enablement:

    • Collaborate with the Enablement Team to create and govern technical resources, defining and educating teams on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and architectural best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); French is a plus.
  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role, like Solutions Engineering or Technical Account Management.
  • Ability to design and articulate complex enterprise network and security architectures.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts as business outcomes.
  • Proven experience in a revenue-aligned environment, understanding SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Depth in at least four of the following areas:
    • Internet fundamentals: Understanding OSI Model layers, BGP, DNS, HTTP(S), and SSL/TLS.
    • Security: Knowledge of WAF, Bot Management, Firewalls, Zero Trust, and SASE concepts.
    • Performance: Expertise in speed, latency, caching, and video streaming.
    • AI Proficiency: Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI-assisted scripting.
    • Coding/Scripting: Proficiency in languages like Python, JavaScript, or Go.
    • Developer Platform Fluency: Experience with APIs, CI/CD, and observability in cloud-native environments.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications (Good-to-Haves)

  • Experience delivering technical enablement resources and workshops.
  • Background in LLM orchestration and related frameworks.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS and SOC 2.
  • Experience from hyperscalers or digital-native environments with advanced architecture understanding.

Education

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Travel

  • This role may require travel up to 20–50% for customer meetings and industry events.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary with a variable compensation structure tied to commercial targets.
