About the Role
In this role, you will serve as a part of the Cyber Security team. This role is responsible for detecting, preventing, disrupting, investigating, responding to, and recovering from cyber risk events. It is a hands-on technical cyber security role requiring a good understanding of cyber security technical and organizational controls according to industry-leading frameworks such as, but not limited to, ISO27001, NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry – Data Security Standard), and SOC2 Type 2. You will utilize technical expertise in one or more areas of Security Operations, Cyber Incident Response, Security Testing, Vulnerability Assessments, or Security Platforms Administration to ensure cyber security.

Job Responsibilities

  • Security Technology Management & Administration
    • Manage, configure, monitor, and optimize the following security solutions:
      • DDoS Protection Platforms
        • Administration and tuning of enterprise-grade DDoS systems to ensure service continuity and resilience.
      • Web Application Firewall (WAF)
        • Implementation, policy management, rule tuning, and troubleshooting of WAF platforms.
      • Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
        • Signature updates, rule configuration, alert analysis, and integration with SOC workflows.
      • Microsoft Purview
        • Administration of compliance, data governance, information protection, insider risk, and auditing capabilities.
      • Application Whitelisting Solutions
        • Policy creation, exception handling, and monitoring of application control technologies.
      • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
        • Implementation, incident handling, rule fine-tuning, and reporting to protect sensitive data.
  • Operational Excellence & Issue Resolution
    • Provide expert-level troubleshooting, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and configuration issues.
    • Perform detailed root-cause analysis and recommend preventive measures.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work with the SOC team on threat detection, triage support, incident validation, and technology integration.
    • Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to coordinate deployments, network dependencies, and change management activities.
    • Partner with GRC to align technology controls with compliance frameworks, audits, and governance requirements.
  • Reporting & Dashboards
    • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards for technology performance, security metrics, incident statistics, and compliance KPIs.
    • Prepare periodic operational, performance, and governance reports for leadership and audit needs.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Evaluate emerging threats, new product capabilities, and optimization opportunities.
    • Participate in the uplift of security maturity, process improvements, and automation initiatives.

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent without prior experience
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Platform Administration:
      • Security configuration of network and endpoint security appliances and software
      • Security policy enforcement and compliance monitoring across the organization
  • Good English communication skills both written and verbal.
