Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity assurance services initiatives.
- Oversee cross-functional collaboration, embedding robust security controls, policies, and standards into all phases of the technology lifecycle.
- Champion the adoption of advanced security tools, automation, and analytics.
- Mentor and coach technical teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Drive risk identification, escalation, and mitigation efforts using threat intelligence and data-driven insights.
Specific Accountabilities - Metrics & Data Insights
- Lead the collection, validation, and analysis of cybersecurity metrics and data from various sources.
- Design and maintain executive dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide actionable insights.
- Drive the automation and optimisation of data collection and reporting processes using modern data visualisation tools.
Requirements
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a relevant IT subject, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology and IT security.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or data analytics certifications preferred.
- Deep expertise in secure software development principles, secure coding practices, and application security frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing architectural risks and identifying control gaps.
- Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and experience in automating data workflows.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making skills.
