Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Operations Team

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join the operations team at a leading organization in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This role requires deep technical expertise across a range of security tools and technologies. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, monitoring, and support of enterprise security systems, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and critical assets.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain security platforms, ensuring optimal performance and security posture.
• Respond to security incidents and manage escalations.
• Perform regular security assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement security policies and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues involving various tools and platforms.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices, frameworks, and regulations.
• Shift coverage might be required as part of the operational support.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of network security, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, and automation tools.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific certifications are a plus.
