The company is looking for a talented Senior Cybersecurity Specialist (Saudi National) to join our team. In this role, you will:
- Perform design reviews for railway operational telecommunications systems to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with internal and external technical disciplines to ensure successful integration of telecommunications systems within the overall project design.
- Manage assigned activities with contractors, utility providers, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Investigate field issues affecting property owners, contractors, and maintenance operations resultant from telecommunications and utility relocation activities.
- Review and approve telecommunications network relocation plans submitted by Design-Build contractors.
- Review and approve telecommunications design deliverables, including specifications, reports, schedules, drawings, and technical schematics.
- Verify detailed equipment and material requisitions proposed by contractors for compliance with project requirements.
- Participate in internal and external coordination meetings, progress meetings, and design review workshops.
- Support the resolution of technical issues related to operational telecommunications systems and interfaces.
- Monitor design progress and provide recommendations to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills:
- Degree, Diploma, or professional qualification in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in telecommunications engineering and design.
- Strong experience in the design of SCADA systems interfacing with railway operations.
- Extensive knowledge of telecommunications systems, including telephony, transmission systems, FTN/GSM-R, and copper and fiber optic cabling infrastructure.
- Strong experience with Operational Telecommunications Systems and Station Information and Surveillance Systems.
- Experience designing IP-based networks supporting MPLS and VoIP technologies.
- Strong technical review, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- IRSE Telecoms Design License or progress towards obtaining the certification.
- Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, and other telecommunications design software.
- Knowledge of international and local telecommunications codes and standards.
- Previous experience in rail, metro, or transportation infrastructure projects.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary and multinational project environments.
- Strong interpersonal, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is expected.
