As a Senior Data Analyst, you will design, develop, and implement robust databases, data collection systems, and advanced data analytics strategies. Your role will optimize statistical efficiency and data quality, delivering professional dashboards, conducting data analysis, and establishing automated reports for various construction functions, thereby driving informed decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Establish, maintain, and improve project reporting systems and processes.
  • Identify new processes, improvement opportunities, and risks.
  • Design, develop, and implement reports, dashboards, databases, and data analytics strategies.
  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques, providing ongoing reports and presentations.
  • Acquire, organize, and maintain data from various sources.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Create effective visual representations of project data (charts, graphs, dashboards).
  • Collaborate with the construction department and stakeholders to gather, maintain, and analyze data.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to construction projects.
  • Work with the Project Controls team to compile and present progress and cost reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all reporting activities.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Connect and integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Provide support and training to business users on Power BI and related tools.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in developing dashboards in Power BI from operational data.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft programs and demonstrated experience in advanced statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a BI Developer or Data Analyst, preferably in the construction or engineering sector.
  • Strong skills in Power BI, DAX, M language (Power Query), and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Certifications in Power BI, SQL, or Power Platform are desirable.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Energetic self-starter, flexible, organized, conscientious, and proactive.
