As a Senior Analyst, you will leverage your expertise in economics, data science, and blockchain to optimize network design and influence the decision-making of our Economics and Executive Leadership teams. You will design, analyze, and operationalize economic models for production applications, collaborating across departments to bring innovative solutions from concept to production.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute analyses to aid the Economics and Executive Leadership teams in making informed, data-driven decisions.
- Build and maintain systems for the parameterization of production applications.
- Work on various blockchain economics projects, including:
- Designing novel mechanisms and incentive schemes.
- Building models and simulations to evaluate investment opportunities.
- Optimizing parameters for production applications.
- Contributing to the design of Economics programs and applications.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a quantitative role, particularly in trading or quant research.
- Deep understanding of financial and crypto markets and incentives.
- Extensive background in financial modeling, data engineering, and model automation.
- Strong skills in SQL and Python.
- Experience with statistical/econometric analyses and substantial data science experience.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong Economics and/or Finance background, preferably at a Master's level.
- Organizational and coordination skills necessary for operationalizing processes and applications.
- Familiarity with smart contract programming (Rust, Go, Solidity) and knowledge of dApp architecture.
- Published research in economics or crypto-related topics (e.g., papers on MEV, staking dynamics, tokenomics).
