Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights that support business and policy decisions.
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.
- Utilize Apache NiFi for automated data flow management and integration between systems.
- Write advanced Oracle PL/SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and aggregation.
- Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into effective data models and visualizations.
- Support the development of KPIs, data metrics, and performance monitoring tools across projects.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across different systems and reporting layers.
- Work closely with data engineers, project managers, and policy stakeholders to align analytics with strategic objectives.
- Document all work, including data definitions, logic flows, dashboard usage guides, and update logs.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Proven hands-on experience with:
- Tableau (dashboard design, advanced charts, calculated fields, user filters)
- Apache NiFi (data pipeline design and orchestration)
- Oracle PL/SQL (data manipulation, views, stored procedures)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in government or public sector environments.
- Familiarity with data governance, open data initiatives, or data privacy regulations in the UAE.
- Knowledge of Python, R, or other statistical tools is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile project management practices.
