As part of the group, you will take on a central role as a Senior Data Analyst, advocating for data and methodologies to functional analysts and stakeholders across the organization. You will collaborate closely with teams in marketing, sales, finance, and product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access, construct, and manipulate large datasets using SQL, Python, and similar tools.
- Design and develop BI dashboards with tools such as Sisense, Tableau, Power BI, or Data Studio for various organizational metrics.
- Conduct full lifecycle analysis, including requirement gathering, activities, and design.
- Define KPIs and metrics, driving data governance through standardization.
- Create documentation and presentations for management.
- Develop analysis and reporting capabilities; monitor performance and quality control.
- Research and validate entity data from internal and external sources.
- Manage exceptions, reconciliation, and reporting while liaising across projects within the Reference Data environment.
- Analyze, identify specifications, test, and implement solutions and interfaces.
- Lead projects from inception to completion, addressing business needs through innovative model development.
- Participate in the design and interpretation of experiments to refine strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
- 6+ years of analytics experience in an internet/e-commerce company, closely working with product and commercials.
- Proficient in SQL and Microsoft Excel; experience with Python, R, or similar tools is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong written and verbal proficiency in English.
- Proactive, passionate about data, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
