Job Description:
- Establish, maintain, and improve project reporting systems and processes.
- Identify new process improvement opportunities and risks.
- Design, develop, and implement reports, dashboards, and data analytics strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Analyze data using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports and presentations.
- Acquire, organize, and maintain data from various sources.
- Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Create effective charts, graphs, and dashboards to represent project data and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with construction departments, supply chains, and stakeholders to gather and analyze data.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis related to construction projects.
- Work with the Project Controls team in compiling and presenting progress and cost reports, identifying variances.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all reporting activities.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets.
- Connect and integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint).
- Create DAX calculated columns and measures for advanced analytics.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional reports.
- Provide support and training to business users on Power BI and related tools.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in developing dashboards in Power BI from operational data.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, data mining, and database management.
- Experience with advanced statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or Data Analyst, preferably in construction or engineering.
- Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and M language (Power Query); strong Excel skills.
- Experience with SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes; knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate is a plus.
- Desirable certifications in Power BI, SQL, or Power Platform.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Energetic self-starter who is organized, conscientious, and proactive.
