Senior Data Center Facilities Development Manager I

Leads the construction of data centers by colocation providers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Creates, reviews, and maintains documentation, including design review, commissioning, and problem-solving papers. Implements and oversees quality control processes to ensure all construction activities meet design specifications and industry standards. Conducts detailed site walks and leads the startup and commissioning phases of major data center projects. Identifies gaps in risk identification and mitigation and develops tailored solutions to address these gaps. Serves as the primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers. Selects, negotiates, and manages contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring contract compliance and performance. Oversees the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in project management or related role
• Strong understanding of data center operations and construction processes
• Experience with contract negotiation and vendor management
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
