Position

The Data Center Manager (DCM) leads a team of Data Centre Technicians supporting the company's business, including OCI Commercial, DRCC, Alloy, Sovereign Cloud, Multicloud, C@C, and On-Prem. The DCM is responsible for all Cloud Hardware Support activities such as break/fix, installations, inventory management, and quality control within a specific territory.

Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time, 24/7 availability required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure 24/7 on-site service level adherence to SLAs/OLAs and foster customer relationships.
  • Resolve conflicts, manage escalations, document issues, and drive process improvements.
  • Oversee people management, performance evaluations, employee development, and hiring.
  • Ensure swift resolution of major incidents and hardware support, leading deployments and maintaining IT capacity.
  • Enforce Data Centre Compliance, overseeing audits, security measures, training, and adherence to corporate policies.
  • Maintain inventory control through accurate audits, processing RMAs, and managing parts delivery and shipping.
  • Support Cloud at Customer and On-Premise hardware, possibly managing SubCo engagements.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally, managing stakeholder interactions to facilitate customer relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess hands-on experience with OCI system tools and processes.
  • An experienced IT Professional with strong people management skills and a deep technical grounding in IT service delivery.
  • Full understanding of escalation and incident management processes and best practices.
