As a Microsoft Senior Data Center IT Support Technician (DCT), you will provide IT support for secure access workstations (SAWs), laptops, servers, and conference room Audio/Visual (A/V) equipment. You will maintain inventory of spare devices and ensure that the latest updates and operating systems are installed. You will play a key role in delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.

Responsibilities:
- Build strong working relationships within the data center and corporate team.
- Ensure SAW devices meet security compliance standards.
- Manage SAW inventory, including ordering, receiving, and decommissioning devices.
- Provide user guidance for common SAW repair issues and escalate when necessary.
- Perform Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for damaged SAWs within 30 days of receipt.
- Provide Senior Data Center Technician-level support as required, including power cycles, component swaps, troubleshooting, and installations.
- Support the deployment of on-site DC physical infrastructure and assist with inventory management.
Qualifications:

Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.

Preferred:
- Technical college degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
- Applicable certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications).
- Experience operating heavy-load movement equipment.
- Flexibility to work non-business hours, including weekends/holidays.
- Valid license to drive standard street-legal vehicles within the local jurisdiction.
