As a Senior Data Center Technician (DCT), you will demonstrate expertise in standard processes and procedures for preparing, installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, replacing, and decommissioning equipment. This role requires a holistic understanding of the functions and interactions between network and server equipment. You will contribute suggestions for modifications to improve service quality and efficiency while providing guidance to other technicians.

Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting expertise to identify causes of issues swiftly.
- Decommission hardware for complex changes following standard procedures.
- Delegate tasks to technicians, providing expert guidance for hardware installations and setups.
- Ensure quality execution per organizational standards and coordinate downtime while keeping stakeholders informed.
- Train and mentor technicians, providing on-the-job training and guidance on specific tasks.
- Maintain KPIs awareness through performance discussions and dashboards.
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with basic knowledge of computer hardware and experience supporting IT equipment.
- Ability to meet the company and customer security screening requirements.
Preferred:
- Associate degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a 24x7x365 production data center environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Server+, Network+; Data Center Foundation Certification).
