Since our founding in 2017, we've grown to a team of over 250 members from 42 different nationalities. Primarily remote, we have hubs in London, Brussels, and Singapore. Our services include market making, options trading, high-frequency trading, OTC, and DeFi trading desks.
The Central Data Team (CDT) is a new initiative at the company, aimed at building the company Data Platform to provide essential data and context to various functions within the company. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the standards and operations of the CDT.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build streaming and batch data pipelines for market, trading, and portfolio data.
- Develop self-serve tooling for other teams to utilize data products independently.
- Manage data contracts and schema evolution to streamline operations.
- Design the lakehouse and time-series layer based on consumer query patterns.
- Establish a Data Governance and Data Quality Framework.
- Build essential analytics for various business functions including trading and asset management.
- Ensure observability, cost-efficiency, and performance from the start.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 8+ years in production data system engineering.
- Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a strong understanding of data modeling for streaming and analytical workloads.
- Systems Design: Experience with streaming systems (Kafka, Redpanda, MSK, Kinesis) and time-series stores (ideally ClickHouse).
- Operational Readiness: Familiarity with Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD processes.
- Communication and Collaboration: Ability to work closely with trading desks and other teams, optimizing for outcomes and maintaining clear communication.
Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is expected.
