Senior Data Engineer

About the Job
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in the IT industry, specifically in Azure Data Engineering Stack including Data Factory, Databricks, Event Hub, Cosmos DB, and Synapse. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Python/Pyspark and excellent knowledge of SQL. Additionally, a good understanding of other Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Analytics, Azure SQL DW, Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage, and Azure Functions is essential. The role also requires a solid grasp of modern data warehousing concepts and proficiency in scripting languages, like shell.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical and organizational skills, the ability to work effectively in both team settings and autonomously, and a familiarity with Agile delivery practices. Knowledge of software development best practices, CI/CD tools, and strong written and verbal communication skills are also crucial for this position. An Azure Data Engineer certification is considered an added advantage.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in the IT industry
• 3+ years of experience with Azure Data Engineering Stack (Data Factory, Databricks, Event Hub, Cosmos DB, Synapse)
• 3+ years of experience with Python/Pyspark
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and coding skills
• Good understanding of Azure services like Azure Data Lake Analytics, Azure SQL DW, Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage, and Azure Functions
