The company, founded in 2011, is one of the longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions worldwide. The AI Infrastructure team within the company builds and operates the production systems that power intelligent agents at scale. This team ensures that model inference, orchestration, and execution layers are reliable, observable, and performant under real-world conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve streaming data pipelines that support live inference and real-time model serving across the company's AI infrastructure.
- Design and construct feature stores that facilitate low-latency, high-reliability features for production machine learning models.
- Implement and maintain streaming systems using tools like RisingWave, Apache Flink, or Kafka Streams, selecting the appropriate tool for the workload.
- Collaborate with ML engineers and AI infrastructure teams to define data contracts, feature schemas, and pipeline SLAs.
- Drive pipelines toward real-time processing, significantly reducing latency from hours to seconds.
- Ensure data quality, observability, and auditability across all streaming and feature engineering systems.
- Contribute to inference pipeline tooling connecting data engineering and model serving.
- Evaluate emerging streaming and feature store technologies to shape the team's technical roadmap.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in data engineering, with at least 2 years focused on streaming systems in production.
- Hands-on experience with RisingWave, Apache Flink, Kafka Streams, or similar stream processing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of feature store design, including online/offline consistency and low-latency serving.
- Experience building data pipelines that serve production machine learning models or inference systems.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Scala; SQL fluency is required.
- Familiarity with data quality frameworks and pipeline observability.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment within an AI-focused team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct production experience with RisingWave.
- Exposure to inference pipeline architecture or model serving infrastructure.
- Knowledge of feature platforms.
- Experience in the crypto or fintech domain.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is expected.
