Key Responsibilities:
- Solve challenging problems using Python coding skills.
- Design, build, and launch new data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in production.
- Perform web crawling, data cleaning, data annotation, data ingestion, and data processing.
- Read and collate complex data sets and maintain data pipelines.
- Focus on process improvement to drive team efficiency and productivity.
- Use Python, SQL, Elastic Search, Shell, etc., to build infrastructure for optimal data handling.
- Provide insights into business performance metrics through analytical tools.
- Support the wider business with ad hoc data needs.
- Comply with QHSE, Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences.
- 6+ years of programming experience with solid skills in Python, Shell, and Java.
- Good corporate capacity and communication skills.
- Experience with web crawling, data cleaning, and solution architecture.
- Proficient in data ingestion, query optimization, ETL, ELT, and AWS services.
- Knowledge of data platform concepts, including data lakes and warehouses.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and understanding of structured and unstructured data.
- Familiarity with dimensional modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques is preferred.
