Key Responsibilities:
- Solve challenging problems using Python, Java, and SQL coding skills.
- Design, build, and launch new data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in production.
- Implement complex ETL solutions for large datasets and optimize SQL and Python code for performance.
- Provide insights into key business performance metrics through building analytical tools.
- Ensure compliance with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), business continuity, information security, and related governance policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of programming experience with strong skills in Python, Shell, and Java.
- Experience with solution architecture, data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and query optimization.
- Proficient in SQL/PLSQL (preferably in Clickhouse or other column-based databases).
- Familiarity with big data processing, real-time processing architecture, and best practices for optimizing data processing systems.
- Knowledge of machine learning and data mining techniques is preferred.
