The company is seeking an astute and qualified Senior Data Engineer to leverage data concepts and complex sources to provide business insights and support integration into the company AI platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Solve challenging problems utilizing skills in Python, Java, and SQL.
- Design, build, and launch new data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in production.
- Understand and analyze complex data sets.
- Implement complex ETL solutions for large datasets.
- Optimize SQL and Python code for improved performance.
- Provide insights into key business metrics by building analytical tools.
- Support the wider business with data-related needs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Minimum of 6 years of programming experience with strong skills in Python, Shell, and Java.
- Knowledge of solution architecture, data modeling, query optimization, ETL, and real-time processing.
- Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL, preferably in Clickhouse or similar column-based databases.
- Experience in data platform concepts including data lakes, data warehouses, and big data processing.
- Familiarity with machine learning and data mining techniques.
