We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining efficient ETL pipelines, performing data integrations, optimizing SQL queries, analyzing large datasets, ensuring data quality, and managing data migration.
What You'll Do:
- Design and maintain efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines using technologies such as Informatica and Denodo.
- Perform data integrations by consolidating data from various sources into a unified format.
- Utilize advanced SQL skills to optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from various sources.
- Conduct feature engineering to enhance machine learning models by selecting and transforming relevant data features.
- Evaluate and enhance data quality, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
- Oversee data migration projects, ensuring smooth transfer of data between systems or platforms.
- Utilize BI tools like Tableau for data visualization and reporting, transforming raw data into actionable insights.
- Manage and maintain Data Warehousing and Data Lake environments, particularly using Cloudera and Hive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data/Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant field.
- Experience with Informatica, Denodo, SQL, Tableau, and Cloudera is a plus.
- Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica and Denodo.
- Experience with data integration methodologies.
- Advanced expertise in SQL, including the ability to optimize complex queries.
- Proven skills in feature engineering for machine learning applications.
- Familiarity with big data processing technologies and methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
- Proven track record of successful data migration projects.
- Strong experience in managing Data Warehousing and Data Lakes, with specific expertise in Cloudera and Hive.
