About the Job: The company, an ADX-listed public company and leading big data analytics provider in the region, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Fullstack). This role will focus on the end-to-end data delivery process, from source-system analysis and data architecture to data modeling, pipeline engineering, and analytics enablement. The successful candidate will define the target-state architecture, model enterprise data, engineer reliable end-to-end pipelines, and transform complex datasets into actionable insights. This position requires a strong combination of data engineering, data architecture leadership, and data analysis skills within a multicultural, multinational environment, with occasional travel to customer sites. Key Responsibilities: - Own the complete data lifecycle, including requirements, sourcing, architecture, modeling, pipeline engineering, and data quality. - Translate business and information needs into actionable delivery roadmaps and design solutions to meet these needs. - Define target-state data architecture and develop comprehensive strategies for data ingestion, processing, and storage. - Analyze source systems to understand data semantics and develop data models based on business requirements. - Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing. - Implement data quality checks and governance standards to ensure data integrity and accuracy. - Collaborate with IT and data owners to catalog data across systems, ensuring alignment with the target-state architecture. - Build data visualizations and reports to support data-driven decision-making. Qualifications: Experience & Education: - Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data architecture, and data analytics. - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Proven experience as a data analyst with a strong command of statistical methods and data visualization. - Mandatory: Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure data stack (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks/Synapse). Technical Skills: - Advanced data querying and manipulation, including complex logic and performance tuning. - Proficiency in a data engineering or data analysis programming language. - Experience designing ETL/ELT processes and understanding of data warehousing architectures. Language Requirements: - Proficiency in English is typically expected; additional languages may be advantageous depending on the multicultural team dynamics.
