The Senior Data Migration Lead will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of the data migration workstream across a complex enterprise transformation program. This role will lead the strategy, governance, execution, and stakeholder engagement for data migration from multiple legacy systems into the target enterprise platform, ensuring data quality, regulatory compliance, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Migration Strategy & Planning
- Define and own the overall data migration strategy, roadmap, and execution plan.
- Lead data discovery, profiling, and legacy system assessment across multiple source systems.
- Define migration waves, cutover strategy, reconciliation approach, and rollback plans.

Data Governance & Quality Management
- Establish Data Governance framework including data ownership, stewardship, quality rules, and approval workflows.
- Drive data quality remediation, cleansing, and enrichment in collaboration with business data owners.
- Define and track data quality KPIs, completeness, accuracy, and reconciliation metrics.

Delivery Leadership & Execution
- Lead and manage onsite and offshore data migration teams (ETL developers, analysts, testers).
- Own data mapping, transformation rules, validation, reconciliation, and sign-off.
- Oversee execution of mock migrations, dress rehearsals, and production cutovers.

Business & Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct data validation workshops, sign-off sessions, and governance forums in Arabic and English.
- Present data migration status, risks, and decisions at programme, steering committee, and executive forums.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15+ years of overall IT experience with 10+ years in Data Migration / Data Management leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading large-scale ERP data migration programs (e.g., Oracle Fusion, SAP S/4HANA).
- Strong hands-on experience with data profiling, cleansing, mapping, transformation, ETL tools, and data reconciliation.
Public Sector & Regional Experience:
- Prior experience working with Public Sector / Government entities in the UAE/GCC.
- Strong understanding of government data governance, security, and compliance expectations.
Language Requirements:
- Arabic – Fluent (spoken and written)
- English – Fluent
