We are looking for a meticulous and proficient Senior Data Modeler to design and document data architecture and modeling solutions that support the company's enterprise information management, business intelligence, machine learning, and data science initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs into robust data models for applications and related systems.
- Coordinate with multiple technical teams for system integration and enhancements.
- Implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Analyze source systems and develop data models while identifying architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces.
- Define and govern data modeling and design standards, tools, and best practices for enterprise data models.
- Review data and identify anomalies affecting future state architecture.
- Prepare data architecture documents and maintain a knowledge base for data structure.
- Develop plans for automating data clean-up and implement solutions for data movement.
- Comply with organizational policies related to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment, as well as Governance and Compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in creating logical and physical data models.
- At least 5 years of experience as a data modeler/data architect in the analytics industry.
- Proficient in using modeling tools like Erwin, Ida, etc., to execute the modeling life cycle.
- Expertise in defining granularity and identifying facts and dimensions for dimensional models (snowflake and star schema).
- Ability to create semantic model layers and aggregated models for KPIs and dashboards.
