Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues from engineering, products, business, and marketing to deliver data-powered solutions.
- Communicate technical results and methods clearly to a diverse range of external clients.
- Analyze and extract insights from extensive and complex datasets using regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and machine learning methods.
- Develop and implement new machine learning techniques to optimize Mozn’s solutions.
- Create data pipelines and ingestion engines for Natural Language Understanding and/or Risk Management, contributing to current systems.
- Engage with stakeholders to define challenges and propose effective data-driven solutions.
- Stay informed about new frameworks and technological advancements to enhance Mozn’s efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal teams to establish and execute solution development strategies, prioritizing large technical areas of work.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Relevant experience as a data scientist or in related fields, particularly with ML/AI model development (3+ years for B.S. or 2+ years for M.S. holders).
- Over two years of programming experience in software development, particularly in object-oriented programming and data manipulation using Python or similar languages.
- Strong understanding of statistics and probability, with knowledge of models like Hidden Markov Models, Probabilistic Graphical Models, or Bayesian inference.
- Practical experience in machine learning, including model diagnostics and adjusting loss functions.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Expertise in Natural Language Understanding and/or applications of Probabilistic Machine Learning.
