Senior Data Scientist

As a Senior Data Scientist at Mozn, you will be part of a strategic and inquisitive Data Science team. You will engage with cross-functional teams to identify and define problems, articulate them in mathematical and statistical terms, and scope projects in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. Your insights will drive business value and product enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from engineering, product, business, and marketing to provide data-driven solutions.
• Communicate complex technical results and methods to a diverse range of clients.
• Analyze and extract insights from complex datasets using regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and other machine learning techniques.
• Develop and apply new machine learning techniques to improve Mozn’s solutions.
• Create data pipelines and ingestion engines for Natural Language Understanding and/or Risk Management.
• Engage with stakeholders to define challenges and propose data-driven solutions.
• Stay updated on new frameworks and technological advancements to enhance Mozn’s efficiency and productivity.
• Oversee significant technical projects, setting priorities and defining technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative fields.
• Relevant experience as a Data Scientist or in similar fields requiring ML/AI model development (3+ years for B.S. holders, 2+ years for M.S. holders).
• Over 2 years of programming experience in software development, including object-oriented programming and data manipulation using Python or other languages.
• Strong understanding of statistics and probability including Hidden Markov Models, Probabilistic Graphical models, or Bayesian inference.
• Applied experience in machine learning, including model diagnostics and loss function modification.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Expertise in Natural Language Understanding and/or Probabilistic Machine Learning applications.
