As a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Computer Vision, you will contribute to the automation of compliance processes through advanced computer vision algorithms. Your work will significantly impact the scalability of the company's operations globally, streamlining processes that are traditionally handled manually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of computer vision scientists and engineers.
- Own and develop projects supported by the wider Computer Vision team.
- Architect and create new computer vision models to enhance compliance and retail processes.
- Utilize Python and the PyTorch/TensorFlow stack, hosted on GCP, alongside tools like Jupyter and Docker for machine learning solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong background in mathematics and statistics.
- Proficiency in Python (3) with knowledge of computational libraries and programming paradigms such as OOP and TDD.
- Experience with SQL (e.g., joins, CTEs, functions).
- Hands-on experience with deep learning libraries (PyTorch/TensorFlow/Keras, ONNX/OpenVino) and computer vision libraries (OpenCV, Pillow, torchvision).
- Familiarity with version control, model deployment, developer environments, CI/CD, and containerization.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with HuggingFace, wandb.ai, and paperswithcode.
- Experience with additional programming languages (e.g., Java).
- Knowledge of system design and distributed computing.
- Up-to-date understanding of Vision Transformers (ViT), Diffusion models, GPT-4, and RetNets.
