The company Data Science team aims to drive competitive value from data at scale. By building AI models, the team optimizes user experiences, decision-making, and operational efficiency while leading the region's AI ecosystem. As a tech leader in this team, you will collaborate with top data science talent and innovate user experiences using Generative AI.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the AI transformation of the company app, focusing on personalization.
  • Develop a long-term vision for customer acquisition and engagement strategies using data.
  • Conduct exploratory analyses to understand the ecosystem and user behavior, identifying new opportunities.
  • Shape and influence data/ML models to enhance product experience and discover new product areas.
  • Provide product leadership by delivering data-based recommendations that impact business decisions.
  • Implement scalable machine learning algorithms in production environments.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify growth and optimization areas.
  • Define and track relevant key metrics for projects, design and analyze randomized controlled experiments.
  • Challenge the status quo by investigating new data processing technologies and best practices.
  • Build and deploy retrieval-augmented generation systems and applications of large language models.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in data mining, predictive modeling, time series analysis, and machine learning.
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science).
  • Solid experience with Deep Learning Techniques (e.g., attention, retrieval models).
  • 1-2 years of industrial experience in personalization, recommendation, or search is required, preferably in a product-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and coding skills.
  • Solid knowledge of A/B testing, classic ML, and deep learning.
  • Proficient in Python, SQL, Spark, and Hive.
  • Experience with database technologies (e.g., Hadoop, BigQuery, Amazon EMR, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.

Work Conditions: Full-time position.
