As a Senior Data Scientist, you will engage in data exploration, model development, and the implementation of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions. This role involves hands-on data manipulation, building predictive models, and generating actionable insights to aid data-informed decisions across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of structured and unstructured datasets using statistical techniques.
  • Data Cleaning and Transformation: Ensure quality and readiness of raw data for analysis and modeling.
  • Feature Engineering: Develop and select relevant features to enhance model performance.
  • Machine Learning: Design, implement, and validate machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Predictive Modeling: Create and refine models to solve business problems through regression, classification, clustering, and time-series analysis.
  • Scalable Pipelines: Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using SQL and NoSQL technologies.
  • Model Deployment: Deploy models into production using platforms like Dataiku.
  • Statistical Analysis: Apply advanced statistical methods for interpreting complex datasets.
  • Data Visualization: Create visualizations and dashboards using Power BI to communicate findings effectively.
  • Data Storytelling: Translate analytical results into clear narratives for strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product owners and other data professionals.
  • Technical Support: Provide ongoing support for developed products.
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain documentation of data processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Information Management, or Statistics (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in data science or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Strong data modeling skills with experience in SQL and NoSQL.
  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Familiarity with data science platforms such as Dataiku and Microsoft Azure services.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with Massive Parallel Processing (MPP) technologies is a plus.
  • Experience in version control systems like Microsoft DevOps.
  • Data Science Certification from Microsoft and Dataiku is preferred.
