This is an exciting time to work in Saudi Arabia, especially with the ongoing transformations driven by Vision 2030. We are looking for a strategic and inquisitive Data Scientist to join our Data Science team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to identify and mathematically specify problems, scope out projects, and provide data-driven insights that empower internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, products, business, and marketing, to create data-powered solutions.
- Communicate complex technical results and methods clearly to various external clients.
- Analyze and extract insights from complex datasets through regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and machine learning techniques.
- Develop and apply innovative machine learning techniques to enhance Mozn's solutions.
- Create data pipelines and ingestion engines for Natural Language Understanding and Risk Management.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify and define challenges, proposing effective data-powered solutions.
- Stay abreast of new frameworks and technological advancements to improve Mozn's efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal teams to develop and execute solution strategies.
- Manage a significant technical area of work, setting project priorities and technical solutions.
Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience for B.S. holders, or 2 years for M.S. holders in data science or similar fields requiring ML/AI model development.
- Over two years of programming experience in software development, including object-oriented programming and data manipulation using Python or other languages.
- Strong understanding of statistics and probability, including models like Hidden Markov Models and Bayesian inference.
- Applied experience in machine learning, including model diagnosis and loss function modifications.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Expertise in Natural Language Understanding and/or Probabilistic Machine Learning applications.
