Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable Oracle and Redis database environments.
- Perform regular database health checks, performance tuning, capacity planning, and backups.
- Monitor and optimize database performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Implement security and access controls in compliance with organizational policies.
- Plan and implement database migrations, upgrades, and patching.
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide 24x7 support for mission-critical systems.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams for database-related requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability across all environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Proven expertise in Oracle Database Administration (11g/12c/19c) including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
- Strong experience in Redis (both standalone and clustered environments).
- Hands-on experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
- Experience with database monitoring tools and technologies.
- Solid understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
- Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure).
- Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, etc.) for automation tasks.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is required.
