As a Senior Design Manager, you will join a multidisciplinary team supporting major projects in Buildings, Landscape, Urban Planning, and Mixed-Use Development across Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities:
- Lead multidisciplinary design teams across various project types.
- Manage the full design lifecycle, including Pre-Concept Design, Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detailed Design, Tender Documentation, and IFC Delivery.
- Oversee coordination among Architecture, Landscape, Planning, Structures, Civil, MEP, ICT, Security, Sustainability, Lighting, Signage, and specialist disciplines.
- Establish and implement project-wide design management procedures and quality assurance processes.
- Manage design consultants and technical stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of coordinated design packages.
- Conduct multidisciplinary design workshops, interface coordination meetings, and technical review sessions.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, authority regulations, client design guidelines, and sustainability requirements.
- Coordinate with construction teams for design constructability and sequencing integration.
- Manage project risks, technical constraints, and design-related commercial impacts.
- Support business development and technical proposals.
- Mentor design teams while promoting innovation and collaboration.
- Ensure implementation of BIM and Digital Engineering standards across all project stages.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15+ years of professional experience in multidisciplinary design management.
- Minimum 10 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in large-scale developments and mixed-use projects.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination and GCC regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills:
- Professional registration or chartership preferred.
- PMP, LEED AP, Estidama, Mostadam, or equivalent certifications advantageous.
- Experience on major GCC development programs preferred.
- Strong understanding of design governance and technical assurance.
- Experience in innovative, sustainable, and smart city integration strategies.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred but not mandatory.
