About the Role
The Senior Manager – Planning and Design is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of design guidelines for all development projects. This role involves collaborating closely with the Design Director to ensure that design goals are met successfully across multiple projects. The Senior Manager will advise the leadership team on suitable design consultant candidates, support development project teams, and facilitate coordination among multiple consultants to align with the overall plan.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and ensure implementation of design guidelines for all development projects in coordination with the Design Director.
- Ensure development and successful implementation of design plans to achieve design goals for all assigned projects.
- Advise leadership team on the most suitable design consultant candidates through initial outreach, RFP development, contract execution, and contract administration.
- Provide support to development project teams in the development of design strategies for efficient project completion.
- Support design, development, and construction teams regarding development schedules, budgets, and plans.
- Conduct periodic internal design reviews to ensure alignment with overall plans and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Review design-related deliverables and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with quality standards and achievement of strategic objectives.
- Ensure coordination between multiple consultants from pre-concept through execution to ensure alignment with the company’s master plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience.
