Senior Design Project Manager

The company is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Design Project Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery, planning, design, and execution of projects from inception to completion. This involves managing project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Manage and coordinate design interfaces with third parties, other design consultants, contractors, and design reviewers.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop project designs.
• Manage procurement and subconsultants to ensure full integration in design development.
• Review and approve design documents and drawings.
• Monitor project budgets and control costs.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and monitor progress against project plans.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• Resolve conflicts and issues during project execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Allocate resources efficiently to meet project demands.
• Lead and mentor project teams, including project coordinators, engineers, and contractors.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and client specifications.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum 20 years of experience in project management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role on large-scale infrastructure or developments.
• Demonstrated success in managing multi-phase project delivery with complex interdependencies.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of project delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
• Familiarity with local authority and regulatory environments.
• Background in client-side project management, construction management, and/or design management.

Language Requirement: English proficiency is likely required.
