The company is seeking a Senior Designer to supervise and manage the work of customer’s designers and contractors involved in the infrastructure electrical systems design for the Expo 2030 Riyadh project. This position will involve oversight of design aspects such as MV & LV power supplies, switchgear, motor control centers, power conditioning equipment, earthing and bonding systems, lightning protection systems, standby power systems, interior and exterior lighting, and fire alarm and detection systems.

The project aims to create a platform for sustainable development, innovation, and transformative thinking, accommodating over 40 million visits from October 2030 to March 2031. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams, ensuring that design outcomes meet customer and project requirements.
Major Responsibilities:
- Supervision and management of electrical systems design delivery.
- Review technical submissions from designers and contractors.
- Support Contracts & Procurement with design delivery and evaluations.
- Monitor and report on progress and performance of design teams.
- Coordinate with Stakeholder Management for timely permit approvals.
- Support construction and quality teams, addressing any issues that arise.
- Conduct vendor factory testing & inspections for electrical systems.
- Ensure successful integration of electrical systems design across contracts.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) with 8-10 years of relevant experience, or 12-14 years of relevant electrical systems engineering experience.
- Professional accreditation with an appropriate internationally recognized body.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Expertise in electrical systems design including MV & LV power supplies, switchgear, and lighting systems.
- Familiarity with national and international design codes.
- Understanding of sustainability design and third-party accreditation requirements (e.g., LEED).
- Experience with integration of electrical systems into building management systems.
- Proficiency in computer-aided drafting software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Knowledge of BIM processes and experience with platforms like Revit and Navisworks.
