The ideal candidate will work closely with various teams, ensuring adherence to project requirements and timelines. Your technical expertise in electrical systems design and integration will be crucial to the project’s success.
Major Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the work of designers and contractors.
- Review technical submissions from designers and contractors.
- Support procurement processes and assist in award recommendations.
- Monitor progress and performance of designs.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Support construction and quality delivery during the execution of works.
- Liaise with customer representatives as the subject matter expert.
- Conduct audits and produce verification packages for project turnover.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience, or 12-14 years of relevant electrical systems engineering experience.
- Professional accreditation with an appropriate internationally recognized body.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems design including MV & LV power supplies and related systems.
- Familiarity with relevant national and international design codes, as well as sustainability design requirements.
- Experience with computer-aided drafting software, such as AutoCAD and Revit, and a working knowledge of BIM processes.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English may be necessary to communicate effectively in this role.
