Key responsibilities include:
- Developing conceptual models for problem areas and implementing effective solutions.
- Contributing to coding applications and scripts within the deployment pipeline.
- Mentoring novices and collaborating with proficient engineers for continuous improvement.
- Ensuring application functionality, performance, and scalability, particularly through effective integration with required systems and services.
- Writing clean modern APIs, integrating with legacy systems, and managing databases.
Other important tasks:
- Participate in all sprint events (planning, refinements, retrospectives, demos).
- Consult with the team to fulfill functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop IT products and conduct unit tests in line with customer requirements.
- Design, build, and test IT products, automating tests for functionality, performance, resilience, and security.
- Manage the lifecycle of IT products, including decommissioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to IT products.
- Setup IT environments and monitoring protocols for product usage.
Requirements for the role are:
- Experience as a backend developer with languages such as Java Spring Boot and NodeJS; functional programming in Scala is preferred.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented programming principles (e.g., SOLID).
- Significant experience with autonomous RESTful API services and performance tuning for large-scale applications.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Couchbase).
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular JS) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to develop innovative solutions.
