Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual models for problem areas and apply them effectively.
- Deliver structural contributions to coding (application, scripts) in the deployment pipeline.
- Mentor novice engineers and actively seek coaching from proficient and expert engineers.
- Design, build, and test IT products, including functional, performance, resilience, and security tests, and automate them.
- Implement Life Cycle Management (including decommissioning) for IT products under management.
- Improve the Continuous Delivery process and resolve incidents related to IT products.
- Integrate applications with all required systems and services, providing clean and easy-to-use APIs for the frontend.
Requirements
- Experience as a backend developer in common languages and frameworks (Java Spring Boot, NodeJS, etc.), with functional programming in Scala.
- Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and engineering principles like SOLID.
- Significant experience writing and utilizing autonomous service-oriented RESTful APIs and performance tuning for large-scale applications.
- Familiarity with database systems, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL stores (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Couchbase, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience as a Developer on a cross-functional agile team preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
