Senior Developer (Endur)-Senior Associate- Energy & Commodities

About the Role
In this position, you will provide Level 2 functional and technical support for Endur applications, ensuring stable day-to-day trading operations. You will investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across Front Office (FO), Middle Office (MO), Back Office (BO), and Logistics functions, playing a critical role in maintaining the performance and reliability of the Endur application suite.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 functional and technical support for Endur applications, ensuring stable day-to-day trading operations.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, and Logistics functions.
• Monitor Endur application performance, End-of-Day (EOD) processing, P&L calculations, and critical system health checks.
• Perform SQL queries, log analysis, and root cause investigations to identify and resolve application issues.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and production issues in accordance with agreed SLAs and ITIL processes.
• Analyze recurring incidents, identify underlying problems, and collaborate with development teams to implement permanent fixes.
• Support Endur configuration changes, system enhancements, and integration-related troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional issues and provide timely, effective solutions.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and production release validation.
• Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, and knowledge articles to improve support efficiency.
• Work closely with L3 support, development, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Identify opportunities for automation, performance optimization, and continuous improvement across Endur support operations.
• Ensure adherence to operational controls and internal risk management practices.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in Endur (OpenLink) application support within energy and commodities trading environments.
• Strong functional understanding of the commodity trading lifecycle, including Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office processes.
• Experience providing Level 2 production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and application monitoring.
• Strong SQL skills, database analysis, and application log investigation capabilities.
• Understanding of Endur configurations, workflows, scripting, and integration with surrounding systems.
• Experience supporting End-of-Day processing, P&L validation, and critical trading operations.
• Working knowledge of ITIL practices, including incident, problem, and change management.
• Ability to investigate complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend sustainable solutions.
• Experience working with Agile delivery teams and support management tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to engage business users and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing production support environment.
• Exposure to OpenJVS, OpenComponents, or Endur customization frameworks.
• Experience supporting Endur integrations with risk, finance, reporting, and data platforms.
• Familiarity with follow-the-sun support models and globally distributed teams.
• Experience with Endur upgrades, platform modernization, or cloud-based environments.
• Knowledge of Python, Java, or other programming languages used for application enhancements and automation.
• Exposure to data analytics, reporting, or visualization tools within trading environments.
• Demonstrated experience improving application stability, reducing recurring incidents, and implementing long-term solutions.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and sharing technical knowledge across support teams.
