The Senior DevOps Data Engineer is a key member of the DevOps enablement team responsible for building, maintaining, and rolling out CI/CD pipelines as a service for autonomous teams. This role involves the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of continuous deployment solutions, as well as coaching software engineers on DevOps practices, automation, and cloud adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment, integrating test automation, code quality, telemetry, and orchestration for automated software builds and releases.
  • Configure, tailor, and build pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery, optimizing for performance, scalability, and supportability.
  • Actively guide teams on container deployment and orchestration, while managing and improving cloud infrastructure.
  • Build and deploy Docker containers to transition monolithic applications into microservices, enhancing developer workflow and scalability.
  • Design effective monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation systems for proactive issue identification and response.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers in analyzing technical application requirements and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Apply site reliability principles to ensure system availability, performance, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or Data Engineering.
  • Preferred certifications in cloud technologies.
  • Familiar with Agile development practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a multi-cloud environment.
  • Knowledge of site reliability engineering principles.
