Position

The DevOps Engineer is part of a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. Your role will revolve around building functional systems, deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs. You will report directly to the CTO and will be expected to work with our team of developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes. You will also play an important role in planning projects and will be closely involved in project management decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda, SNS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch) focusing on scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Support and extend GCP environments (GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub) to ensure multi-cloud readiness.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket or similar tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and compliance using Terraform and reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules.
  • Enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, secret management, and least-privilege principles.
  • Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure platform reliability.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews to strengthen resilience and reduce recurrence.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, automation workflows, and deployment standards.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience managing and automating AWS infrastructure.
  • Proven expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (modular and environment-based design).
  • Working knowledge of GCP (networking, compute, IAM, and container services).
  • Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized workload management.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Redshift).
  • Experience with monitoring, incident management, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and documentation skills.
