We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Operations squad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building high-performance, scalable, mission-critical, and secure systems in the cloud. You will be responsible for scaling our infrastructure using efficient tools such as Kubernetes and Terraform, and will play a crucial role in serving millions of customers across multiple countries. You will work with a diverse team, learning and sharing knowledge daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain scalable, cost-effective, and reliable systems in a GCP cloud environment using Kubernetes.
  • Improve CI/CD processes and increase automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Handle incidents and support engineering teams with infrastructure needs.
  • Develop infrastructure as code and document processes, best practices, and tools.
  • Automate deployment and scaling processes to minimize downtime.
  • Continuously improve infrastructure and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Experience Required:

  • At least 6 years in a similar role building and maintaining large-scale, distributed cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong experience in Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python, TypeScript).
  • Proven expertise with Containers and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Terraform, CDK for Terraform, Pulumi).
  • Proficiency with cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure) with at least 1 year in GCP.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and programming languages (Node.js or Python).
  • Understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (ElasticSearch, LogStash, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus.
