The Opportunity
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the software engineering team to deploy and operate our systems. You will play a key role in automating and streamlining operations and processes, while building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture a talented team of engineers emphasizing individual ownership and impact.
- Maintain a scalable and robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) framework.
- Ensure issues are tracked and resolved promptly.
- Maintain suitable deployment-specific support documentation.
- Share knowledge of best practices in IT operations for continuous service availability.
- Transform ambiguous situations into clear directives.
- Work in a multicultural and diverse environment across various geographic locations.
- Comply with QHSE policies and related risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps.
- Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines.
- Background in Linux/Unix Administration.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Docker and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
- Proficiency in scripting and Git workflows.
- Strong experience with SQL and MySQL.
- Experience with deploying, operating, and monitoring Java applications.
- Hands-on experience with GPU workloads, including model deployment and performance monitoring.
Ideally, You Will Also Have
- Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID/OpenID-Connect, SAML 2.0, Kerberos, and LDAP.
- Experience with the RedHat OpenShift stack.
- A detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
