On a given day, you will:
- Architect and optimise Kubernetes clusters using cutting-edge cloud solutions like GKE or EKS.
- Fortify our infrastructure security, staying ahead of emerging threats and implementing best practices.
- Design and implement complex cloud networking solutions across multiple environments.
- Automate critical processes using your programming skills to enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure precise and reliable cloud resource provisioning.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal uptime and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with the ability to contribute as both an individual contributor and a leader.
- Proficient in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP) and well-versed in cloud computing best practices.
- Strong Linux skills, including experience with advanced debugging tools and shell scripting.
- Excel in containerisation technologies, particularly Kubernetes.
- Skilled in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, or Go) for automation tasks.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
