About As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping our infrastructure and deployment. We need a proactive, automation-first engineer who treats infrastructure as a product, prioritizing its scalability and maintainability while ensuring a great experience for our developers. You'll have a unique opportunity to design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, automate our cloud infrastructure, and ensure the reliable delivery of our applications and system components. You'll collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and other teams to embed automation, observability, and operational excellence into every stage of our development lifecycle. From managing Kubernetes environments and infrastructure as code to improving monitoring and deployment efficiency, you will help build a platform that is robust, scalable, and easy to operate. This is your chance to lead, innovate, and make a lasting impact in a rapidly evolving DeFi landscape. Key Responsibilities - Design and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform. - Automate provisioning, scaling, and configuring infrastructure. - Maintain Kubernetes clusters to orchestrate workloads efficiently. - Manage secrets, access control, and network policies across all environments. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable deployments. - Standardize and automate build, test, and deployment workflows. - Work with developers to improve deployment speed and rollback strategies. - Ensure consistent delivery practices between staging and production environments. - Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to improve system visibility through metrics and tracing. - Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis. - Continuously identify and fix technical debt and sources of instability. - Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support their infrastructure requirements. - Create and maintain clear, reusable documentation and runbooks. - Promote DevOps best practices throughout the organization. Requirements - Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi). - Proficiency in managing containerized applications using Kubernetes (self-managed or managed services like EKS/GKE). - Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or FluxCD. - Solid understanding of monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar). - Familiarity with Linux systems, scripting (e.g., Bash, Python), and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Helm). Skills - Solid experience with Amazon Web Services, including managing cloud infrastructure and services. - Proficiency in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters. - Experience with GitOps practices using tools like FluxCD; strong knowledge of Helm charts and Kustomize for Kubernetes resource management. - Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt for scalable and repeatable infrastructure. - Good understanding and practical experience with Istio service mesh for traffic management, security, and observability. Why work with us? - Join a young, creative team in a fast-paced and supportive environment. - We’re open to new ideas — if you’ve got a vision, pitch it and make it happen. - Enjoy competitive pay that matches your skills and experience. - Be part of a company that’s shaping the future of DeFi. - Take time when you need it — we offer unlimited vacation days. - Get fully compensated for your work gear — we’ll set you up for success. - Travel with us! We host an annual team retreat at a top international location. 1inch is the DeFi ecosystem building financial freedom for everyone. 1inch products help users and builders trade, hold, and track digital assets - with the self-custody, comprehensive security, and the intuitive user experience they need to unlock the potential of true crypto ownership. 1inch protocols and APIs provide core infrastructure across the DeFi industry and beyond. So if you’re someone who thinks big, moves fast, and wants to make an impact right from day one, then get ready to join our industry-changing team. Location: We hire with a focus on Dubai and Europe.
