We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Operations squad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building high-performance, scalable, mission-critical, and secure systems in the cloud. You will help scale our infrastructure using efficient tools such as Kubernetes and Terraform and play a vital role in the evolution of our platform, which serves millions of customers across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable, cost-effective, and reliable systems using technologies such as Kubernetes in a GCP cloud environment.
- Improve our CI/CD process and increase automation to enhance efficiency.
- Manage incidents and support engineering teams with their infrastructure needs.
- Develop infrastructure as code as required.
- Introduce processes, documentation, best practices, and tools to improve productivity.
- Automate deployment and scaling processes to minimize downtime.
- Continuously enhance infrastructure and processes for better efficiency and cost reduction.
About Your Experience:
- At least 6 years of experience in a similar role, building and maintaining large-scale, distributed infrastructure environments in the cloud.
- Strong experience in Linux administration and scripting languages (Bash, Python, TypeScript, etc.).
- Proven experience with Containers and Container Orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with configuration management tools, including Terraform and CDK for Terraform.
- Proficient in cloud infrastructure and services, with at least 1 year of experience in GCP.
- Previous experience with CI/CD processes and programming in Node.JS or Python.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational database models (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) is a plus.
- Experience with ElasticSearch, LogStash, Kibana, Prometheus, and Grafana is advantageous.
