As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will leverage your extensive experience to build and secure CI/CD pipelines, integrating security practices seamlessly into DevOps processes. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining secure infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Your expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) will enhance both the security and efficiency of our systems.
Your role also involves applying advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to automate security testing and vulnerability scanning. You will provide technical guidance to ensure the implementation of best practices and adherence to security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of DevSecOps principles, with a focus on integrating security throughout the development lifecycle.
- Utilize scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and security tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, vulnerability scanners, SIEM) to address security vulnerabilities and bolster system defenses.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to continuously refine security measures and practices.
- Automate security testing processes to proactively identify and mitigate potential threats, while implementing and enforcing security best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in DevSecOps roles, with a strong record of building and securing CI/CD pipelines.
- Extensive knowledge of DevOps principles, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Proficiency in configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with security tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, vulnerability scanners, SIEM) and programming languages (C/C++, C#, Swift, GoLang, Python) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a collaborative spirit to thrive in both independent and team settings.
